Probate Court Pattaya

6 contacts this week for funerals, cremation and probate

There is nothing worse than getting that call that someone is dead

There is immediate shock, what to do, how to arrange everything from another country or locally, can I trust these people with a Power of Attorney

I am in the same position

At Thai888 Law we have many procedures that are like a production line. Over the years we learned by mistakes and tweaked our systems to make it easier for those overseas and my Thai staff, after all English is their second language and they don’t teach what we do in school or Uni. It sounds a bit cold however when a foreigner dies in another country there is a lot of red tape

Sign the Power of Attorney (POA)

There is a lot of trust involved here as you are signing your rights to someone you basically don’t know and many questions and concerns are raised. I know how you feel as I have a probate property in the UAE and need to sign a POA to the Lawyers to get a Grant from the UAE courts, to sell the property, and to send the money back to Thailand. Not easy and I have contacted dozens of Lawyers, had Zoom calls with them and over the past year nothing has happened. I am still waiting for an email, a contact, an update. There is no follow up from them and this makes me very nervous. Thai888 Law does not work this way. We send you a complete breakdown of costs, procedures, and any questions you need answers to.

Its strange to have a law office and a funeral service

No its not, we have 2 offices, one for the civil criminal company family matters and one for Abroad Funerals and Probate. This works very well as both are entwined and compliment each other. Example. When someone dies there are many docs issued including a POA, and these are Notarised (we can do this as we have lawyer notaries), Embassy letters, translation, banks transfers, legal authority to work for you to make the funeral cremation probate seamless and transparent. Don’t forget there is insurance as well and they’re a tricky bunch

Thai888 Law & Abroad Funerals Pattaya Thailand

Review

Dear Mr Bamfield all the Thai888 (Law) Abroad Funerals) team (Pattaya) ,
I would like to wish you and your team a massive and truly heartfelt thank you for everything you have done for Ray, his adoptive Thai family, myself and his UK based brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces.
Under normal circumstances when I got the news he had left us I would have been on a plane in person but this was not possible. What could I do? It was Songkran and the embassy was closed. From the FCO they gave me the list of regulations and papers that were needed and Ray died without leaving an executor . How could I manage all that remotely from Switzerland?.
And then I found you and you took all that worry away from me. You knew exactly what needed to be done and I immediately felt safe, secure and confident that you and your team would take care of everything. And you did beyond my expectations will all the calmness and respect for a family grieving for the loss of their loved one. Perfect in fact.
I did manage to be present live (Facebook) (link here) and thank you for the live link and the recording. It was truly amazing from beginning to end. The walk around the temple (link here) , the readings, the offerings, the committal, the monks, the floral tributes was just well what can I see but… truly amazing.
Thank you and may God bless you all for all the great work you are doing for those in need and do not know where to go.
May you all have great success and I wish all good luck for the future.
With very best regards and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
David (Dave) McEwen
PS: You are welcome to post this testimonial and thanks to your website.
PPS: If you are partial to a G and T yourself, when I am able to visit Thailand I will come to your office and make you one personally! All the very best. (this was in reference to the G&T skills of Raymond and read in the Eulogy)

Thai888 Law Pattaya presentation on Living Wills at the Pattaya City Expats Club

Thank you PCEC for asking me to present information on Living WIlls and thank you Ren for interviewing me and keeping the pace.

Living Wills are legal in Thailand under the CCC Health Act and should be used when you are able to make one – ie competent enough to decide this is your future wish to not be resuscitated or left hooked up to several machines in a hospital.

Prolonging life under terminal illness or when brain dead is something that can be avoided if you have a Living Will in place.

Please consider it as should you make it yourself it is free. Yes Free.

Thai888 Law will always be there to assist you in every aspect of Law in Thailand. Enjoy the video and contact me if you want more [email protected]

Sad news for us at Thai888 Law Company when a friend passed away in the UK at the age of 54.

Gone to soon.

When Jamie was in Pattaya we always met him down the beach for our Friday pizza and drinks

This is Jamie on one of those nights – with iphone in one hand and a Singa beer in the other

Expat death in Rayong funeral cremation UK

from Last Will and testamentary to probate thai888 law does it all

I got a call last week from a family in the UK and was asked if we can arrange all documents funeral and cremation.

Thai888 Law arranged the Embassy release letter, release from the hospital, temple, staff, flowers. drinks etc.

All within a few days as the family had to fly out again.

Of course all this was done with the help of the family, girl friends, wives and friends.

One of the brothers made a special thank you  over the mic to Thai888 about the seamless way in which we made everything come together. The family flew in made a few calls and we did the rest.

This is the way it should be. Efficient!

Sorry we dont advertise on the radio to get clients or to break into an already established market. We do things and then rely on word of mouth so that new customers can make their decisions based on our previous clients.

The Thai888 Law experience shows that our system works and this leave you and family to get on with the grieving process.
