Be aware that for the first year you need to put 800,000 baht in the bank for 2 months – renewal after 12 months is 3 months.
It is for living on and not investing or as a bond.

Common Law is not recognised here and so you need to protect each other should something happen to either one of you.
If there is a valid Will in place then it would be difficult for it or the Beneficiaries to be contested. Without a Will then it would be difficult to prove you were entitled to any assets. You may even have to move from the place you shared with your partner.
Don’t be caught in this situation as it will add to your already grieving situation.
